What are the side effects of VK2735?

The most commonly reported VK2735 side effects are nausea (most common, usually mild to moderate), vomiting, diarrhea or constipation. Most are mild and tend to be dose dependent. It is generally avoided with class-based caution (VK2735 has no FDA label yet): personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN-2. Human clinical evidence for VK2735 is limited, so this reflects reported and observed effects, not a complete safety profile.

  • Reduced appetite strong enough to cut protein intake too far
