A vial lasts as long as the number of doses inside it, which you find by dividing the total micrograms in the vial by the micrograms in each dose, then dividing that dose count by how often you use it. A vial holding a large total amount split into small regular doses can last many weeks, while the same vial used at a higher dose or more frequently runs out faster. A point that confuses many beginners: the amount of bacteriostatic water you add changes how many units you draw for each dose, but it does not change how many total doses the vial contains. Two milliliters of water or three, the peptide inside is the same, so the number of doses is the same. Water only affects the concentration, and therefore the size of each draw, not the vial's total supply. To stretch a vial, you change the dose or the frequency, not the water.
Dose count
- 5 mg vial = 5,000 mcg total.
- 10 mg vial = 10,000 mcg total.
- 20 mg vial = 20,000 mcg total.
- Total doses = total mcg divided by dose mcg.
Duration
If a 10 mg vial is used at 500 mcg per dose, that vial contains 20 doses. Daily use lasts about 20 days. Every-other-day use lasts about 40 days. Weekly use lasts about 20 weeks.
